As we use the www.bexleycc.co.uk website more and more, such as dates for club events; we feel that there are a couple of things that members should do to make sure that they are keeping fully up to date.

The first, is to download the Pitchero Club App in your App Store and then log in with your details and make sure you allow notifications so that when news comes out you receive it straight away.

The second is to make sure that you have turned on your settings to receive emails. If you have not verified your email address, then when you log in there will be an option to send yourself a verification email at the top of the page; click this and then action the link in the email.

To do this you will need to
• log in to Pitchero in a web browser (PC / Laptop / Phone; anything but the App).
• Click on your profile image in the top right corner of the screen
• Click “Settings” in the side-bar
• Click “Email Preferences”
• If you need to verify your email, there will be a link at the top of the page that says your email address is not confirmed and click “Send Confirmation Email” and complete the steps in the email
• Tick / Untick the types of emails you wish to receive (we suggest that you have them all ticked).
Finally, updating all your details; even if you are a registered member and have verified your email address; if you do not have a Date of Birth in your details, you will not receive emails.

For the 2025 season, the adult section is going to be doing availability on Pitchero. The reason for this is that Play Cricket is now dated, with no App option and no automatic notification; in recent years people have not updated their availability, and a lot of chasing has to be done to get people to do their availability. Pitchero is more user friendly and at a click of a button your availability can be done, and we hope that with this ease, there will be less chasing required for people to do their availability. We have been trialing this set up for the Adult Winter Nets and so far it seems to have gone well.

We will still be sending team confirmations via Play Cricket; as the teams need to be entered into Play Cricket as a league requirement before games.
